Life can feel like an overwhelming challenge at times. With the right support, and the willingness to ask for help, almost any challenge can be overcome. With a great support team we are going to ride through 850 miles of SoCal dirt in 24hrs. The goal is to complete it in less than 24hrs while raising money and awareness for suicide prevention.
Following the general route of the California BDR (Backcountry Discovery Route), we will start in Yuma Arizona and ride through sand washed deserts, deep rocky canyons, Death Valley’s scorched desert floor and over mountain tops to the base of the tallest mountain in the lower 48 before we traverse Owens valley to finish at the Historic Benton Hot Springs. As with many tough challenges in life, we will depend on our support team to help keep us moving to the finish.
This is a personal journey for us as we honor those we loved and lost to suicide. More than raising money our goals are focused on personal challenge and reflection while raising awareness for suicide prevention.
